The Canadian County Atlas Digital Project : The County Atlas Digital Project is a searchable database of the property owners' names which appear on the township maps in the county atlases. Township maps, portraits and properties have been scanned, with links from the property owners' names in the database. The database presently covers the Ontario map, totalling forty-three atlases.

Upper Canada Land Board (1765-1804) : The Land Boards were created in 1789 to oversee land matters and facilitate settlement in what is now Ontario. This research tool includes more than 16,400 references to the Upper Canada Land Board records.

A list of those who left on the ship King William for Quebec : Downton, Wiltshire Emigrants April 7, 1836. On April 7, 1836, the parish of Downton saw almost 10% of it's population leave in a parish sponsored emigration to the wilds of Upper Canada. 220 souls from the parish of Downton, along with 59 others from Standlynch and Whiteparish left on the 380 ton King William.

Upper Canada and Canada West Naturalization Records (1828-1850). Before 1947, foreigners could petition for naturalization. Library and Archives Canada holds several naturalization registers for Upper Canada/Canada West (now Ontario), for the years 1828 to 1850 only, organized by year within each county. This research tool contains 3,344 references.
